Station History

WYYC serves the York, PA area with a population of over 1.1 million. The station began airing in 1948 covering York County and reaching into the neighboring communities of Harrisburg and Lancaster, PA. Wilkins Radio purchased the station in 2005 changing the call letters to WYYC and began airing the Christian teaching talk format.

The coverage area of WYYC has traditionally been a very responsive area for Christian ministries throughout the years. Some of the current national programs that air on this station include Turning Point, Jay Sekulow Live, The Old Trailblazer and Hope for the Heart.
