Station History

KLNG serves the Omaha- Lincoln, NE and Council Bluffs, IA area with a combined population of 1 million. Originally, the station went on the air in 1978 as KQXV and later changed its call letters to KLNG in the late 1980′s.

Bob Wilkins formed the Wilkins Radio Network in 1989 with the acquisition of KLNG as the company’s first Christian Talk radio station. Since the Wilkins acquisition, KLNG has been a voice in Omaha, NE for quality Christian teaching, preaching and talk programming for over 22 years. Currently, some of the broadcasters include Turning Point, Hope for the Heart, Fellowship in the Word, Watchman on the Wall and Wonderful Words of Life.
