WLMR serves the Chattanooga, TN area with a population of 475,000. WLMR began broadcasting in 1961 and at one time served as the flagship station for the University of Tennessee - Chattanooga Moccasins under the call letters WMOC. In 1993, Wilkins Communications Network acquired the station and changed the call letters to WLMR and began broadcasting quality Christian teaching, preaching and talk programming and has continued this format for over 18 years.
